Overview


With 878 square metres of conference and meeting space, Park Hyatt Zurich provides a large meeting capability.  Situated alongside the long established Zürich Kongresshaus, the hotel was designed to complement and develop the meeting facilities that Zurich currently provides to business.

Meeting and conference space is divided into one 391 square metre ballroom with 185 square metre pre-function area, four meeting rooms up to 105 square metres and a 40 metre square boardroom.  The Escherwiese Ballroom is divisible into three sections.  All spaces will provide state-of-the-art facilities and custom-designed furnishings to ensure a perfect blend between the functional and the elegant.  As well as benefiting from a natural light source all rooms will also have fully modular lighting systems that have been custom-designed for this hotel.  Acoustically all rooms have been designed to ensure maximum sound quality. 

Multi-media requirements have been taken into consideration and meeting spaces are able to provide for all meeting requirements.  Recessed screens are standard features for all function rooms. Additionally, there are three ‘media carts’ available, all equipped with DVD player, VHS video recorder, video-connector for external sources, two amplifiers, LCD video-data projector, media control system with touch panel and full connection plate for external sources, i.e. laptop, microphone, etc. A dedicated Meetings Concierge will be available to offer guidance on customer requirements and provide 24 hour assistance on-site. Situated on the ground floor, the ballroom is easily accessed through a large pre-function area that can be used for exhibitions, cocktails or coffee breaks.  The ballroom can provide access for cars if required.  Wood and fabric panelling covers the four metre high walls and lends warmth and colour to this stylish space.  With its own built-in stage and LCD Projectors, the ballroom is ideal for seminars and large meetings of up to 300 persons.  For banquets, gala dinners and weddings the ballroom is transformed to allow sophisticated dining for up to 200 guests.  Park Hyatt Zurich offers the finest banquet cuisine in Zurich with our culinary team encouraging guests to develop customised menus.

The Mezzanine Floor is also the location for the four meeting rooms and high-tech boardroom.  All meeting rooms benefit from the same attention to detail that has been lavished on the hotel.  Furniture has been custom-designed in Italy and the artwork selected to suit each room.  For smaller meetings the high-tech boardroom provides intimacy and elegance for up to 12 participants.   Access to the meeting rooms will take participants past an enclosed, Eastern inspired bamboo garden with white gravel surround.  Using natural light, this feature allows a sense of calm and wellbeing to emanate through its glass casement.  Built on the site of the Escherwiese car park, Park Hyatt Zurich has not forgotten its roots and, with 267 public spaces available, provides underground parking options for participants to any function.
